We are currently running a Top Fuel, Nitro Funny Car and Pro Stock "Index" series for NHRA Quarter Mile Showdown.

These events take place on a Wednesday night, qualifying to start by 7:30 AEST
The class, and track we will be racing for each week will be posted in the "What's On!" block on the right hand side of this page.
Race conditions for each event will be set on the night,
Check the clock on the R/H Side to see the time in AEST Format

To race in these events, you will need

the CURRENT PATCH, and TEAM SPEAK.

You will also need to be a member at Team Oz

(and need to know your exact username)

If you are thinking of racing with us online, please post here first,

and people will help you get set up before the event,

as this will make events run alot smoother!

Troy Critchley is known to most of you as a former TD racer living and working in the USA. Troy is one of the nicest guys you will ever meet and was involved in a freak accident at a pro-mod display some time ago. Unfortunately casualties occurred and Troy has now been charged with manslaughter. Team Bray has put together a petition as a sign of support for Troy. The ATDA applauds this initiative and asks that its member’s sign the petition – remember it could have been any one of us!

TeamOz Racing Finally hit's the track !
With it being no secret that it has been on it's way, The TeamOz Racing Ford finally made it to the Racing surface last night for some testing. With the car showing some great early signs, It was later parked to do a full strip down to check if, and where things could be improved.
There has been no word yet on wether a TeamOzRacing Holden will be built, word is that they could be sticking with the Falcons for this season. Let's hope this is not the last we see of this car!

Congratulations to Raymond Gould (OzIceman) on taking out the first round of the TeamOz V8Supercars series at Adelaide Raceway!

Here are some new rules that will come into affect by the next race.

1) Only TWO people to a qualifying rooms, Regardless of who is connecting to who.

This is to keep it clean for the two drivers who are racing so they can focus on what they are doing. Driving a 330 MPH race car!!!

In order to install NHRA Quarter Mile Showdown on a PC running the Windows Vista OS, use the following steps:

Insert the CD-ROM.

Click the install button.

When the installer gets to the first main screen, click Next.

Click Accept on the EULA and click Next.

Set the directory for install and click Next.

At the next screen choose Custom, then click Next.

Click on the box next to Microsoft DirectX 9 and select This Feature will not be available. This should place a red X in the box next to Microsoft DirectX 9.

Click the Next button, then Install.

The installer should complete the installation.

Please note that while NHRA Drag Racing: Quarter Mile Showdown can run in Vista, it is not a supported operating system. A list of supported operating systems may be found in the System Requirements on the NHRA box.

ALL of your computer’s drivers must be present, correct, and up to date. Even with up to date drivers, NHRA may not be able to run properly on some machines that otherwise appear to meet the hardware specifications while running Windows Vista.
